What it means to me when I get an e-mail with a red exclamation

"Amanda! Stop EVERYTHING! Read this email immediately."

I expect that red exclamation marks will only be used under these conditions:
> Something terrible has happened that you need to know about
    - The project I'm working furiously on has be cancelled
> Something time sensitive has happened that you need to know about
    - The conference # has changed
> I need some information immediately or something terrible will happen
    - What's the conference #? I'm at home and can't access outlook.
> I need some information immediately to have something good happen
    - We just found out that we can send one person to a conference, but we have to decide today. Can you go?

I think that the red (!) always means "The email I am sending is important to me." in the same way that honking a car horn always means "Someone else's car is front of mine."

Miss you, A!
